The barque Serena, hound Irom MeliKMirne to Quoenstown, during a gale on March 18th, had Jour ol her crew swept overboard and drowned. The (aptain, at the risk of 1 is- life, was chiefly iiifitrumentdl in rescuing tuo others who were holding ou to a rope in the icy water at the ship's side.
