The white forwards got going again, but Strachan stopped them well, and half time was called. On changing ends Waverley made big efforts to score. The boys got on Borne fast passing after a pe2*iod of even play, and Tonks scored near the corner flag, Hitching* making a good but futile shot at goal. Again the School attacked and Warerley being penalised, Hi tellings added "anothe" three points to the whites' score.
