Last season upwards of 106,000 sheep and lambs were sent from the ocal freezing works, only 20,699 of which *ere shipped at this port. From the lsl if July, 1906, to the. Bth of June, 1907. $8,000 carcases have been put through and jver 32,000 will be shipped direct because ti the Waiwera'* visit.
