Mr Crick appeared in the Full Court to show cause why he should not be struck off the roll of solicitors. Tho ground of the citation was the finding of the Lands Commission that, of the sums of money received by ePter Close, as land agent, in their being dralt with by the Minister for Lands, Crick had received half. The proceedings against Crick were initiated on behalf of the Incorporated Lav/ Institute. Messrs G. H. Reid and Walker appeared for Crick. The latter.on affidavit, set out the necessity for a postponement to enable him .to prepare his case. He declared that he had not been guilty of any offence against the la wof the State. Mr Reid, in a lengthy argument in favour of a postponement, said they asked for an opportunity to bring forward such explanations as would lead the Court to the conclusion that the finding of the Lands Commission was wrong.
