A Warning by Lord Crewe.

LONDON, December 20. In the House of Lords ford Crewe considered that the concessions regarding teachers were considerable, but the Opposition really claimed that third class schools should be denominational schools. It was a mockery to ask Liberals to vote money for such an object. He warned tho Opposition that they would never again receive such large concessions. The Government refused to accept an iota of responsibility for the rejection of the Bill. The noble Lords and prelates must T>ear the responsibility. It was likely that in the coming months many harsh things would be said and some harsh things done.
