Bookmakers' Olerks Fined.
(Per United Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, December 19. Six bookmakers' clerks were to-day fined by Mr Day, S.M., in sums ranging from the amount of Court fees up to £5 for practising their calling at the last meeting of the Christchurch Racing Club, the Magistrate holding that clerks were equally culpable with bookmakers.
