PIPE BAND CONTEST.
A Valuable Challenge Cup.
(Per United Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, October 19. The Fletcher Humphreys Company, of Christchurch, have received a cable from Mr John Bejjg, of the Royal Lochnagar Distillery, lllmoral, advising that he has sent forward a challenge cup, valued at ,£35, for the pipe band contest at the Exhibition on January 1 and 2 promoted by the Scottish Society of New Zealand, Christchurch.
