It is now feared that some fissure admitted water to the machinery, and that the crew of sixteen met a terrible death. Lord Charles Beresford, in a sympathetic message, informed Admiral Belluc that he ie sending a battleship, a cruiser, and a destroyer. He also offered tugs. Admiral Bellue gratefully accepted tho former, but replied that he docs not require tugs.
