Tasmania's Position.
HOBART, September 19. Ouring the debate on the financial position of Tasmania Mr McCall advocated the payment of a fixed subsidy by the Commonwealth, with an additional amount to those States where primary industries predominated as against manufacturing industries. Unless the financial position was faced Tasmania would have to ask special assistance from the Commonwealth.
