HAWKE'S BAY DEFEATS MANAWATU.

NAPIER, September 16. The representative football match, Manawatu v. Hawke's Bay, was played on the Recreation Ground on Saturday afternoon, Hawke's Bay winning by 12 points to three. Smith, Bailey, Munro, and Glasgow scored tries for the winners, and Skelley for the visitors. The local forwards were much faster and cleverer than the visitors.
