The third ♦monthly m-ttch of the Wanganui Ladies' Golf Club was played on the Links yesterday, July 4th, against bogey. In the seniors, Mrs Cleghorn (scratch) came out equal with bogey, as aliso did Miss O. Stanford, with a )iand>c.ip ol 5. These were followed by Miss Miapp (11) 1 down, Miss Cleghorn (18) 1 down. Miss Iz:ml (13) 5 down.

In the juniors, Mrs Harvey (scratch) and Mies A. Cowper (4) were both all •-.quaro, Mise Dymock (14) 1 down, and Miss Williams (12) 3 down. It is hoped that nil the senior playing members, and as many iuniors as possible, will be at the links on Tuesday, July 10th, to play a match against the Wangauni (Jolf Club. The match will begin at 1.45 p.m. A match between the two local clubs, Balgownie aud Maroro, will take place on the latter club's links on Saturday next. The following will represent the Maroro Club: — Lewis, Ha worth, Stevenson, Dodgflhun, Parkes, G. Gordon, G»>ss, Bcaveu, Pawson, Esson, Goss, Mackay, Quigley, Varney, and W. Gordon.
