NOTTCE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Wanganui Borough Council, held on the 26th day of June, 1906, a resolution was passed "That the Wanganui Borough Council do by Special Order pay to Mary Derby, wife of Edward Derby, of Wanganui, the sum of two hundred pounds, a« compensation for ( the surrender of her lease of part L'« ik 22, containing 3 acres 3 foods 3b perches, fronting the Heads Road, together with all buildings erected thereon." IN accordance with the provisions of the "Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and the "Road Boards' Acts Amendment Act, 1905," public notice is hereby given: — (1) That the Upper Wangaehu Road Uoad at a special meeting held at Mangamahu at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday, June 2nd, 1906, passed a resolution, making a Special Order making and levying a special rate of onesixtieth of a penny in the pound upon the ratable value of the Adameon's-Ruanui-Turakina road special rating area. (2) That such resolution will be confirmed at a meeting of the Board to be held at Mangamahu on Saturday, July 7th, at 1.30 p.m. (3) That a copy of the proposed special order is deposited at the office of the Board and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours.
