Breach of Companies' Act.
WELLINGTON, February 12. A fine of Jil and costs was imposed by the Magistrate to-day in a case brought by tho Registrar of Companies against the directors of the Hollow Concrete Company for having failed to make the statutory declaration regarding tlu> affairs of the Company. Tho prosecution did not press for a heavy penalty ac tho case was IWe first of its kind.
