ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Per United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, December 15. The coroner's •' inquest touching the death of Mrs Margaret Winsloe, who was fatally injured by the shaft of a light carb which cam© into collision with a motorcar in which she was riding in Gore, concluded to-day, the jury finding that the deceased met her death by being struck by the shaft of a trap driven by Jolm Whittingham, and that Whittingham did not exercise sufficient care in the management of hie horse. No blame was attached to the driver of the motor. Whittingham will be charged to-morrow with manslaughter. Mr Winsloe admitted that the collision might have been avoided if the driver of the motor had kept nearer the kerb. •
