MILLINERY DISPLAY.

A representative of the "Herald" had an "advance peep" at a beautiful lot of imllinery trimmed by Mr J. J. BuckreSi's l.ow milliner. Tho collection certainly embraces some perfect gems and would be a crudit to best London or Parisian houses. These hats will be displayed in Mr Biu-k-rell's windows this evening and all ladios should fee them.

Messrs W. S. Duslin and Co. liad a very fine exhibit of wedding and birthday cakes and novelties in confectionery at the Horticultural Show. The exhibit was much admired.

We wish farn-.ers to note that Baddclcy, Forlong and Co. are holding thcii^ ?ak> this week on Tuesday on account of '\Yednesday being election day. They have a good entry to offer.

During the summer months, starting from to-mdrrow, the 3rd inst., the Castlecliff Railway Company, Ltd., will "run a train on Sunday morning^, leaving Castlecliff at 10 a.m., and Wanganui at 10. 3G a.m. The usual trains will run in the ifternoon as follows: — From Cnstlccliff a< 2 p.m. and 4.45 p.m., and from Wangaaui at 2.30 p.m. and 5.5 p.m.
