WANGANUI ORCHESTRAL CONCERT

The fine programme to be played by tht Wanganui Orchestral Society has taken a great deal of preparation, and in. attempt ing such a heavy evening's programme, the Society have clearly shown that they take a d«ep interest in their work. From a musical point of view, it is doubtful ii any similar society offers a more attractive programme. Beethoven's Symphony, No. 1, in C major, will be played, and UiL in itself is something quite unusual. 11 is a very fine composition, entailing harcl work all round by ©very member of the band.
