MARIST BROTHERS' SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT.

The entertainment by the pupils of the Marist Brothers' School, to bo held in the Opera House on Thursday, December 7, promises to be full of interest. There is some really good talent among the boys, and their choruses and songs are sung with a taste and correctness which speak well for tho ability of their teachers. Interspersed in the programme will be three very pretty tableaux, and tho accompanying sonjys, "God Defend New Zealand," "Let Erin Remember," and "Slumber Gentle Infant," will be gung by the pupils. The fact that every performer is a bona fide pupil of the school will lend additional interest to the entertainment. The Brothers have spared no pains in preparing the boys for their different items, and we feel sure their efforts will be crowned with success.
