The jury in the Dalley divorce case returned 'to the< Court shortly before midnight, after being locked up for twelve hours. Of eleven issues wjiich they had to decide, they failed to agree in the majority, including those as to whether the respondent and co-respondent committed adultery, but they found petitioner had committed adultery with Katharine Cowell in England and France. Justice Walker said that the result was regrettable, but could not be helped. Counsel for the respondent formally moved for a decree nisi and costs of the suit. The Judge noted the application, and discharged the jury.
