Mr. Willis at St. John's

Mri- Willis addressed -a meeting of the electors last evening at St., John's Hill. Mr .Gi/Fownall occupied the chair. The_ address was much on the lines of previous utterances. He pointed out he had been in public life for •.thirty-five years and no one could say during the time he had > «n in Parliament that"he had neglsctcd his duties or been inattentive to those- v.Lo had. asked assistance on various Matters where hij services/ were required to remedy grievances. At- the conclusion of his address, a hearty vote of thanks was mov^ed by Mr Devrnport and carried enIhnsiatfcioally, atid a voto o£ thanks to tlie chair concluded the proceedings.
