Young People at Political Meetings.

TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, — In your list night's issue I notice a letter signed "Elector," objectidng to children under 21 years attending political meetings. Now in my case I will have a vot? in a short time, and does "Elector" expect me not to take an interest in political matters. Must I turn 21 years of ago before I take the lcas-t thought of the affairs of the State ? Political meetings are an education which holp to make us think more of the governing of the colony, and I have for the last two years taken a great interest hi this matter. I quite agree with "Elector,"' when babies are taken, and placed in a scat to themselves, which might be occupied by some voter. Hoping you will have room for this short letter. — I am, etc.,

FUTUEE ELECTOR Wanganui, November 29, 1905.
