A Candidate Roughly Handled.

AUCKLAND, November 27.

Mr P. A. Bradley, candidate for three city seats, addressed a most uproarious meeting to-night. The crowd invaded the stage, upsetting the chairman, candidate, and table on to the floor. He was listened to for about half an hour, the meetingfinally breaking up in darkness and disorder.

Tho crowd handled the candidate very roughly, and chased him through an adjoining hotel into another. They surrounded that building, hooting and yelling, the candidate escaping through a back -door.

OAMARU November 28.

The completed nominations for the Oamaru seat are Messrs Duncan (Ministerialist), James Mitchell (Liberal Independent), and William Mitchell (Opposition).

Mr Harry Cowin, of Whareama, a Wairarapa sheep farmer, has been nominated in opposition to Mr Seddon for the Westland seat. He stands in the interests of the No-license party.
