No Election This Year.

LONDON, November 25
After a Cabinet Council, lasting 2\ hours, Mr Balfour stated' that no decisions had been reached, but it is understood that there will be no elections this year.

LONDON, November 25.
The Daily Mail says , that Mr Balfour would probably have resigned if 'lie Liberal newspapers had not clamorously urged the leaders not to accept office until after the General Election. Now the Government will mark time until a convenient season for holding the elections, which will not occur until after tho Christmas holidays, but before Parliament meets.
