The Porte's reply is that if the Powers persist in their demands and resort to coercion the 'Porte cannot assume responsibility for events and consequences. VIENNA, November 25. It is semi-officially reported here that owing to the Porte's negative reply, the solution will henceforth be the operations of the warships. Tlie Powers had previously warned Bulgaria, Servia, and Greece to remain neutral and passive during the demonstration. LONDON, NoA-ember 25. The correspondents state that the Porte's veiled threat regarding disorders or massacres has arousad groat indignation in diplomatic circles. Germany claims that Bilberstein has again urged the Sultan to yield.
