WANGANUI AGRICULTURAL SHOW

o ■. Record Entries. At Bine o'clock last night entries for the Wanganui Agricultural Association's ShoV closed, and it is eminently satisfactory to all concerned to know that in the aggregate they make a record for the colony in live' etock. This "is practically what' the Association was formed for — to give breeders in such classes the opportunity of competing in sections which include horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, etc. It is distinctly to the credit of our townspeople, but more particularly to the settlers, that they have responded to the appeals made to 'them, and they in turn will be doubly pleased to learn that the' hard work of the executive has met with such deserved success. Visitors to our Wanganui Show, which tak<« place on Wednesday and Thursday of next week, will have the pleasure of witnessing one of the most successful of the many big gatherings hitherto held under the auspices of this progressive- Association, which does so much good work towards advertising Wanganui.
