THE GARDEN GULLY MINE.

The Garden Gully mine manager reports that the aerini line is now finished, and all the buckets are in position. A trial run haa not yet iaksn place as some clearing and "eicm'ations on the line havo to be made before the buckets can b* fillsd. This work will be don-, at once, and a trial run of the serial my be ex-]>-cfed before the.end of the weir. Work in the mina has 'been confined to No. 2 level, which has bran e-nlarged immediately above tho uprise so as to euable the quartz to be sent- down to No 3 level, from where it will be trucked out to tho slorage bins at the mine's mouth. As before stated, a successful trial run of the stampers ami uerdan took place last week.
