At the Supreme Court this morning, when the divorce case of Godden v. Godden (wife's petition) was called on, Mr Treadwcli, who appeared for the petitioner, said he regretted that owing to being unable to secure the attendance of an important witness, lie would have lo ask Jot an adjournment. Mr God den. who appeared on his own behalf, strongly objected to any adjournment being granted, and urged that the case should be gone on with. After some discussion on the matter, his Honour agreed to holding the matter over until Thursday, when -application would be made re fixing the place of hearing.
