THE POTATO DISEASE.

NELSON, September 19
The potato blight, known as phytophthora infestans has appeared in the Tolio Cfarden. at Nelson, and samples sent to Professor Kirk, have been officially identified as diseased, and an application of Bordeaux mixture urged. The presence of tho disease in other districts is also suspected.
