WELLINGTON, September 19. The Premier, speaking at a social, denounced tho proposal to surrender the freehold at its original value as an immoral proposal, and said that there was loming in the near distance, a struggle such as had never been witnessed in. the colony. Ho urged the people to stand firm, and not be misled into returning to Parliament those who had so miserably misguided New Zealand in the past.
