TEACHERS' SALARIES.

DUNEDIN, September 19. At last night's meeting of teachers, the following further resolution was carried: "That this meeting thanks the Premier for carrying out his promise to endeavour to abolish the present inequitable method of calculating teachers' salaries, by the introduction of the Education Act Amendment Bill, 1905," and that a copy of this resolution bo sent' to • the Premier,' and to the Otago members of Parliament, and that they be urged to support the Bill.
