Baron Knollys, replied that, the, King; rejoiced . to ' hear* that his subjects think • he and the Queen -have been ,of some utility- in prompting peace and goodwill, and that they are more than contented with that reward. > He thanked the Provost, but opined that it -would be better "not to proceed further. . • .<• .
