Rioting In Courland.

Burning of Forests and

Farmsteads-

Received August 25, 9.40 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, August 25. Rioters in Courland in 25 Communes have wrecked the Government buildings and burned the lists of conscripts prepared for mobilisation. Large forest and farmstead fires have caused millions' of roubles' worth of damage. A majority of the landowners have taken refuge in Germany and Sweden.
