Suspicions of Foul Play.

DUNEDIN, August 24. The police are closely" invgestigafcing the" . circumstances connected: with the death of Ham Sing Tbng, near Tipanui. The body was badly burned, the underclothing being almost burned off. There was a bruise on the forehead, several cuts on the face, and a pool of blood nbbut the bed. The floor was strewn with fragments of a bottle and " there were fragmeota^biP' a bottle on a shelf near tho bed. The burns- were evidently caused by the explosion of a- lamp found on tho bed.
