Russia Has Everything to Gain by Another Battle. . -

Received August 25, 7.37 a.m. LONDON, August 24. . The Times' St. Petersburg correspondent reports that the Treasury -is exhausted, and the Government must- now revert to a paper currency or forcibly appropriate the wealth of tho monasteries if the war is to be continued. A high officer of the General Staff declares that Russia has nothing to lose and everything to gain by another big battle, and that the army was never so good or so numerous as now.
