(Per United Press Association.) AVELLINGTON, August 22. The Council met at 2.30. NATURALISATION OF FOREIGNERS. Replying to the Hon. Feldwick, the At-torney-General stated that the question of naturalisation of. foreigners in the colonies being made applicable to those who apply for the full privileges of naturalisation throughout the Empire had been - considered by a committee of the British Parliament iv 1899, and by the Conference of Premiers in 1902, but nothing had been done in the matter, and it was not at present the intention of the Government to take further action. MISCELLANEOUS. The Maori Lands Council Bill was read a third time and passed. The Statutes Compilation Act Amendment Bill was put through its final stage. The Council rose at 3 p.m.
