A meeting will be held in the Crown Lands office, Taupo Quay, on. Wednesday, tho 30th inst., for the purpose of forming a Domain Board to protect and beautify the land set apart as Domain and Recreation Reserves at Kai Iwi beach. All pei--bohs interested ay<> letpested to Mend Die meeting, as this piece of land may in time bo made one of our best holiday resorts.
In another column Mr R. M. Gatenby asks all those ladies and gentlemen willing to act on the committee to be formed for forwarding his interest at the next general election to meet him at Duigan'a Buildings, Ridgway Street, at 8 o'clock tomorrow (Wednesday) evening.
