NAPIER PARK RACING CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING.

NAPIER, August 15. The annual meeting of the Napier Park Racing Club was held to-day. The balance--sheet showed a profit for -the year of j£2o 16s lOd. This, although only a small amount, must be deemed very 'satisfactory, when it is considered that the -whole of the six days on which racing "was held last, season were wet, which materially affected . the gate, and totalisator receipts, 'and the with-holding.of the publican's- license; had also affected,' the club's revenue to- the' ex?, ■ tent' of J5250 for 1 the" year. ;
