THE GOROKE TRAGEDY.

When the case of Mary Bertram, charged with the wilful murder by poisoning of Mrs Tierney, at Gymbowen, with wjiom she was at service, was<. called SubInspector Dungey applied to have the case struck out. He said that at the inquest on, the body of Mrs Tierney all the evidence the police could obtain was submitted, and d verdict "of wilful murder against some person or persons tinknown was recorded. This virtually meant the acquittal of the person arrested. Mary Bertram, who. was not present in Court, was discharged.
