LETTERS FROM ZION CITY.

The following, (sayd th& Adelaide Advertiser) are extracts i'rom private . letters received from Zion. City by, the last mail: — "I have just got over the disappointment, and am looking forward to the time. when we come home again. Tho "old boy told theni to do so, so there, will be. plenty of lies written. Zion is going to the devil fast, and the sooner we can get out the better. It is a s*haine and a- fraud to bring people here under false pretences. ~As for ourselves, we are going to live down a* Waukeg'an. next week, and I never hope- to enter Zion again. I hose the Lord will open a way for us to get back to Australia, but it will take a. long time for us to manage it. Dowie has commanded the last lot of Australians, to writ© back reports to make us out liars and deceive the people^ for Zion's sake. Let us know some of the people who are coming, and wo will send them warnings. Every meeting night here Dowio getis ramping mad, and scares the. people, and makes them obey him, or out they ,go. P took us out of an old stable, and. we lived with them all tho winter, or I don't know wliat \V3 should hav<3 done. We are now in two pokey little rooms, eating, washing, arid cooking all in one small room, and the heat is terrible! In the wihtei' the children could not go ont for three months. I would have written before, only I remembered your warning, und thought you would only say, 'Served you right.' If I could only see you now I would put my arms round you and say, 'I will not go to Zion,' but it's too late now."
