FUNERAL OF THE HON. H. K. TAIAROA.

DUNEDIN, August 14. About 4000 persons visited the Maori kaik. yesterday to witness the interment of the Hon. H. K. Taiaroa. The tangi took place in the meeting houseV^ollowed by addresses by the Native Minister, and Hunia, of Hdrowhenua. The .burial service was read in English- and Maori. Wreaths were sent by the Ministry, and by Mr and Mrs Heaton Rhodes.
