Received August 11, 9.50 p.m. SYDNEY, August 11. ,
Recently the Railway Commissioners declined a request from the ' Employees' Association to allow a reporter to take a full note of tho proceedings, contending that the notes now taken were sufficient.
To day a deputation of Labour members asked the Commissioners to reconsider the decision. *
Mr Oliver replied that the Commissioners were doing all thoy could in tho interests of the employee. The action of the Labour deputation amounted to political interference. There was no time in tho history of the railways when thero was greater need than now to take excep. tion to political interference, which the Commissioners could not tolerate. »
