WANGANUI RIFLES. The following handicaps have been allotted for the sixth competition for Messrs Meuli and Harford's trophies, to be fired to-day and on Saturday, ranges 300 and 600 yards: — A Class. — Captain Eedmond, Lieutenant Hogan, Colour-Sergeant Scott, Sergeant Stewart, Sergeant J. Harrison, Sergeant G. Harrison, and Lance-Corporal Anderson, scratch ; Corporal Smithies, 2 ; Sergeant Brown, 3; Sergeant A. Harrison, Corporal Fowler, and Volunteer Porteous 10. B Class, — Volunteer Arnold, scratch; Bugler Arnold, 3 ; Lance-Coroporal Bunting, Volunteers Smithies, Payne, and L. Davy, 9; Volunteers Coneybeer and Lockyer, 12; the rest of the Company, 15 points.
Honorary members, parents, and friends of tbe Defence Cadets are cordially invitod to attend the special parade to be held in the Drill Hall to-morrow (Friday) even, ing, commencing at 8 o'clock. The programme will be composed of company movements, and the competition for the Sectional Shield will also take place, after which the season's shooting trophies will be presented. '
