A Cossack patrol at Lodz, who were attacked from the front and behind a- cemetery wall, 'entered the cemetery and killed five men; , foiiy wpmeji^l and thiee children. The officers /of tlie mtirom Dragoon Regiment informed the 'commander of the troops, on behalf of the men, that they declined to shoot down defenceless people. The regiment was transferred to Wiolansk.
