ceptionally free from grease, but seed and cotts were very prevalent, and materially affected the value of much that was offered. Lambs' wool was in good demand, and rea Used -as high as- 7Jd, -but seedy lambs had to sell at a considerable reduction on this. Generally, there was a rise of 7^d to -Jd on the; December sale prices, and we quitted nearly the whole of the catalogue under the hammer. The range of prices on Friday was as follows: — Merino, BJd; halfbred, 6£d to 7£df medium, crossbreds" and Romneys, 6Jd to 7d; logstained a.nd inferior/l>£d* to*6d;' pieces "and bellies,' 4d ' to sd; locks, l£d to 3iJ; lambs, bright and .clean 6^d to 7£d, slightly seedy 5d to 5Jd.
