FELIX TANKER'S FAST.

Completes 14 Days'.

A "Herald"' representative visited Tanner to-day, suid found him* in good spirits aud thoroughly satisfied with liis ability to finish his self-appointed task of fasting for 21 days, 14 of which have been completed. Yesterday Tanner was examined by a wellknown local medico, who expressed the opinion tha«t. the lasting man had plenty of vitality left to carry out a 4U days' attention from food. Tanner, however, is not anxious to extend the period. In fact, lie assured our representative thsd the preseni will be the last time he will undertake such a feat. He- hap had enough of fastiiig, and will try something more sensational next time. Though at times' bis temperature if low, Tanner experiences no great inconvenience from his long fast. He feels dizzy when he rises to hie feet, nnch as he felt at the termination of his 40-day fahts, *uid this leads Mm to the conclusion that he is getting old and is no£ quite as capable of carrying out n long fast iv» he was when in the prime of life.' He is sleeping six hours in the 24, and during the 14 days has lost 17 lbs weight. No doubt during the nest week Tanner will be visited by a large number of people, who will be curious to note the condition of the fasting man, aud make comparisons.
