The Arbitration sat to-day to tak« evidence in connection' with ait application by the Bakers' Industrial Union of Workers of Wellington 'and- the .employers to have the award, when made, extended', to the country districts.' The decision waß reserved. . „ > Evidence waa also taken as to alleged breaches of the award with regard to th» employment of timber workers by a> local sawmill proprietor. . „ The hearing will be resumed to-morrow.
