In tihe following departments ariicles of fashion are reduced approximately from 25 per cent, to 5U per cent, off usual prices (from 5s to 10s in the .£1), as, according to the Company's rules, a complete clearance must be effected at the end of each season, namely — Millinery, Fancy Dress Goods, Prints and Cotton Dress Materials, Ready-made Costumes in Cloth, Fancy Materials in Crash, etc., , Jackets, Skirts, Coats, Sunshades, Summer Blouses, | Silks, Ribbons, etc., etc. In the following departments the goods being' plainer and not confined to the summer season, the reductions, whilst not being so drastic as in the case of fashion goods, will be on a most appreci- . able scale, namely: — \ House Linen, Manchester Goods, Blankets, Curtains, Underclothing, Gloves, Hosiery, Men's and Boys' Clothing, Men's Mercery, Travelling Requisites, Boots and Shoes, Fancy Goods, 'Crockery, Ironmongery, Glassware, Floor Coverings, jFumiture and Pianos.
