DEFEATING LOCAL OPTION.
ADELAIDE, January 28.
In consequence of the alteration of boundaries in the State electorates,- the At-torney-General holds that- the local option polls taken in' the old districts axe-inopera-tive, and has granted a license where the vote was against- further license. The Temperance Alliance' is obtaining legal opinion x>n the matter.
