PRESENTATION.
(Per United ' Press Association.) WAIPAWA, September 5. Mr John Thornton,' the' principal of Te Aute College, was presented last, night with a gold hunting watch (inscribed) and a silver breakfast service by the parishioners of Waipawa- in recognition of his long services as * a lay preacher.
