The "Encyclopedia Britannica" is a storehouse of entertaining reading. All sorts of curious facts will be found here. If you ire ijtWeitcd in cookery, you can turn to the article on cooking, and find much there that will amuse and interest you. If you ore keen ou sports, you may turn, for example, to the articles on golf or cricket. Or if you are fond of cards, you may turn to the various treatises on the games that you play, or the games that you would like to play. In fact it is impossible to say where, for the purposes of general reading, the "Encyclopaedia Britannica" can be found wanting. The Daily Mail (Wellington) will supply post free to all who are not familiar, with the general character of the "Encyclopaedia Britannica," a Prospectus containing specimen . pages, etc., and a rough imitation in paper of the general appearance of the special Daily Mail binding in three-quarter morocco. As the production of so elaborate a prospectus is necessarily expensive, it is requested that only those will apply for it who contemplate purchasing the Encyclopedia.
