WELLINGTON, December 13. The cricket match between Wellington and Canterbury was to .have begunthis afternoon, but steady, rain set inearly, and the" game had to be postponed till 11 a.m. to-morrow. , ' WELLINGTON, December. 14. The morning broke beautifully fine, with no wind, and .the cricket match Canterbury v. Wellington, which was postponed from yesterday, began at 11.10 a.m. Harmon won the toss for the visitors, and, tho wicket being dead, ho decided to send Wellington to the wickets. This decision up to noon was justified by the result, as at that hour Wellington had lost three wickets for 31— Richardson, Quee, and Clark being out. —
